Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) organised the \u201cHonouring Support & Achievement \u2013 Donor-Recipient Gathering 2024\/25\u201d on 26 June 2025, to express sincere appreciation to donors for their longstanding generosity to the university and their unwavering support for student development.<\/p>

During the gathering, President Professor Lam Kwan-sing and\u00a0Vice President (Research and Institutional Advancement) Professor Ricky Kwok Yu-kwong presented Certificates of Appreciation to scholarship and bursaries donors.\u00a0Mr Terence Yu Tak-kwong, one of the scholarship donors, engaged in a fireside chat with two student awardees, encouraging them to strive for excellence and seize opportunities. One of the awardees also delivered a captivating juggling performance to express heartfelt gratitude on behalf of all recipients.<\/p>

This year, HKMU received record-breaking donations totaling almost HK$50 million in support of scholarships and bursaries, funding over 2,600 outstanding and\/or financially deserving students.
