Supplier Disciplinary System<\/p>

The Procurement Section of Hong Kong Metropolitan University will follow up with suppliers upon receiving complaints from users.<\/p>

The Procurement Section shall review and record poor performance in the following areas as reported by users:<\/p>

  • \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Inferior quality of goods or services<\/li>
  • \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Poor after-sales support services<\/li>
  • \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Late delivery of goods or services without justification<\/li>
  • \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Frequent non-responses to invitations to quote\/tender<\/li>
  • \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Any other areas of poor performance<\/li><\/ul>

    The Procurement Section shall, based on the severity of the above-mentioned poor performance, take one or more of the following actions against suppliers:<\/p>

    • \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Issue written warnings to suppliers<\/li>
    • \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Suspend suppliers for a specified period from invitation to bid<\/li>
    • \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Remove suppliers from the Approved Supplier List after persistent poor performance<\/li><\/ul><\/table>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
