Delegation of Okayama University Visits HKMU E&L to Foster Academic Exchange<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The School of Education and Languages (E&L) received a delegation of Professor Toshinori KUWABARA and his postgraduate students from the Graduate School of Education at Okayama University on 5 November 2025.<\/p>

The delegation visited E&L, where they met with Professor Andy Chin, Dean of E&L, and Dr. Eric Chong, Head of the Department of Education. The visit featured a fruitful dialogue exploring future collaborations, including summer study tours, student exchange programmes, and joint research .<\/p>

A highlight of the day was a research exchange session between postgraduate students from both universities, where participants shared insights into their academic work and research interests. The visitors also toured our newly renovated Language Centre, guided by Dr. Danny Leung, Centre Director and Head of the Department of Applied Language Studies, and met with E&L faculty members to learn more about the teaching and learning environment.<\/p>

Earlier in the visit, Dr. Eric Chong led the delegation to Newman Catholic College, offering a firsthand look at Hong Kong's secondary education system and classroom teaching, thus enriching their understanding of the local educational landscape.<\/p>
