providing students with a platform to express their thoughts on life issues and demonstrate their creativity.<br>&#8211; The winning submissions will be published in the E&amp;L Outstanding Student Writings Journal and on the School website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target students<\/strong><br>&#8211; All full-time undergraduates of School of Education and Languages, HKMU are eligible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entry Categories<\/strong><br>&#8211; (A) Argumentative essay on the theme \u201cAI will replace writers. Do you agree?\u201d (1000 &#8211; 1300 words)<br>&#8211; (B) Poem\/Song (no word limit)<br>&#8211; (C) Prose\/Verse (no word limit)<br>&#8211; (D) Short story\/Dramatic script (no word limit)<br>&#8211; Categories (B), (C) and (D) can be on the theme \u201cAI\u201d or any other themes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prizes<\/strong><br>For each category:<br>&#8211; First Prize: $2000 HKD cash voucher + Certificate<br>&#8211; Second Prize: $1000 HKD cash voucher + Certificate<br>&#8211; Third Prize: $500 HKD cash voucher + Certificate<br>&#8211; Merits: $250 (each) HKD cash voucher + Certificate<\/p>\n<p><strong>Judges<\/strong><br>&#8211; Famous writers in English will be the adjudicators of the Competition.
