Welcome to the International Symposium on Celebrating Multilingualism and Multiculturalism: Preparing Language Teachers for the Global Classroom. This symposium aims to advance language education by incorporating the latest global research findings into our teacher training programs, thereby enhancing the quality and relevance of teaching and learning for both students and educators.
Our plenaries will focus on the theme “Multicultural and Multilingual Approach to Quality Teacher Education”, aligning with Hong Kong's development as an inclusive, multicultural, and multilingual society. This theme provides an opportunity for our colleagues and students to engage deeply with concepts of multiculturalism, multilingualism, and diversity in language classrooms.
