French Class

The Language Centre will launch a French class for HKMU full-time students.  Let's find out more from below!

Class features:

• Designed for beginners.
• Learners can interact, communicate and work in groups during class.
• The course will help you with all the main parts of language learning: speaking, listening, reading, writing, and interacting with others.
• You’ll start with the very basics of French, which is great for beginners who want to learn everyday French.
• You’ll cover topics like introducing yourself, saying hello, and talking about your likes and dislikes. You’ll also learn the basics of French grammar, like how to make simple sentences and use prepositions.
• No course fee (with a refundable deposit!)

Class schedule:

• 10 lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 24 Sep and 31 Oct.

 Class format:

• Online Zoom classes (learners are required to switch on the webcam for better interaction between the teacher and learners).
• Learning materials will be available online.

Application details:

• Class quota: 30 spots
• Medium of teaching: English
• Eligibility: HKMU full-time students
• Pay $300 deposit (to be refunded to learners having attended 80% or above of the whole class)
