the courses you wish to register can be counted towards the award of your intended programme as fulfilling the graduation requirements. To learn more about the details of a course currently on offer \u00a0(e.g. course contents, learning supports, assessment methods, pre-requisites, etc.), you can obtain the course description on <a href=\"http:\/\/admissions.hkmu.edu.hk\/dl\/courses\">this page<\/a> by clicking the course title of the concerned course.<\/p><p>To plan your study, the University encourages students to check the latest course presentation schedule and the offering terms on <a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.hkmu.edu.hk\/dl\/courses\/\">this page<\/a> (choose the credit system &gt; click &#8220;Future Term(s)&#8221;).<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><u>Step 3: Start your course registration<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p><p>Most registrations will normally be processed on a rolling basis. Once the quota is exhausted, further applications will not be accepted.<\/p><p>Before starting your course registration, you should note the following points in addition to the regulations stipulated in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hkmu.edu.hk\/distance-learning-students\/policies-and-guidelines\/student-handbook\/\">Student Handbook<\/a> .<\/p><ul><li>All course fees and\/or application fee paid are not refundable nor transferable, unless the course(s) you registered is\/are cancelled by the University.\u00a0<\/li><li>Under 5-credit system, the maximum registration value of continuing students in a term is 30, whereas students applying for courses at postgraduate level for the first time is limited to a maximum registration value of 15 in a term.<\/li><li>Under 3-credit-unit system, the maximum registration value of continuing students in a term is 24, whereas students applying for courses at postgraduate level for the first time is limited to a maximum registration values of 12 in a term.<\/li><li>To comply with the requirements of the HKSAR Government's Office of the CEF, the University will not offer any course fee discount or deduction to students applying for 'CEF reimbursable courses'. For the Senior Citizen Card Scheme discount or others, you may read the <a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.hkmu.edu.hk\/dl\/faq\/\">online FAQ (Q21)<\/a> for details.<\/li><li>The University does not forbid its students to study in another institution at the same time (except for non-local applicants whose student visa is sponsored by the University). However, you should check with your current institution if it has any restriction on 'double registration'.<\/li><li>Persons living overseas are welcome to pursue studies at the University through distance learning.
