The Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Animation and Visual Effects programme at Hong Kong Metropolitan University invited renowned local animation directors, Mr. Toe Yuen Kin-To and Mr. Neco Lo Che-ying, to serve as artists-in-residence. The programme was held from January to July 2025 at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, featuring public lectures and animation workshops. Thirty selected students worked in groups to produce seven animated short films, learning skills in story creation, character design, cinematography, animation production, and sound design. The completed works were publicly exhibited in July 2025 at the Jockey Club Campus of Hong Kong Metropolitan University.
