The Research Institute for Digital Culture and Humanities held an inaugural seminar for the series \u201cChinese Science Fiction in the Digital Age\u201d entitled \u201c\u5f9e\u6881\u5553\u8d85\u300a\u65b0\u4e2d\u570b\u672a\u4f86\u8a18\u300b\u5230\u5289\u6148\u6b23\u300a\u4e09\u9ad4\u300b\uff1a\u00a0\u4e8c\u5341\u4e16\u7d00\u4e2d\u570b\u5c0f\u8aac\u7684\u767c\u5c55\u201d on 9 November 2021, with Prof. Xu Zidong as the guest speaker. Prof. Xu, Honorary Professor of School of Chinese at University of Hong Kong and Zijiang Chair Professor of the East China Normal University, shared his view on the development of Chinese novels in the twentieth century through discussing the literary works from Liang Qichao's\u00a0The Future Record of New China\u00a0<\/em>to Liu Cixin's\u00a0The Three-Body Problem<\/em>.
