This workshop aimed to provide participants with a deeper understanding of Cantonese opera and performing arts culture through the Chinese tea culture.\u00a0 The event focused on the theme of tea, exploring its history, cultural significance, and its relationship with opera, particularly its role in the classic literary work <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dream of the Red Chamber<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Dr Kelly Chan introduced the symbolism and significance of tea in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dream of the Red Chamber<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Dr Chan Chi Chun explained the relationship between teahouses and opera culture, and Ms Mandy Cheung, a national senior tea artist and evaluator, introduced the history and origin of tea and led a tea tasting demonstration and sharing session. The workshop was attended by 20 HKMU students and staff members.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br
