Programme Objectives:<\/strong><\/span>\u3000<\/strong><\/h5>
To equip students with a thorough understanding of cultural and heritage tourism from the cultural, heritage, historical, anthropological, sociological and economic angles.<\/h5>
Who should enroll?
<\/strong><\/span>Individuals working in public, private, and non-governmental organizations in the field of cultural conservation and heritage, or for the general public interested in related issues.<\/h5>
Programme Structure:
<\/strong><\/span>Master of Arts in Cultural & Heritage Tourism (English Version) [MACAHTF: 30 credits, 21 credits will be from core courses and 9 credits will be from elective courses]<\/h5>
Mode of learning:
<\/strong><\/span>Face-to-face lectures on weekday evenings or Saturday. Field trips will be conducted sporadically according to the requirements of the courses.<\/h5>
Language of instruction:
<\/strong><\/span>In the Chinese and English version program, courses will be conducted in either English or Chinese<\/u><\/strong>. It is a requirement for students to possess fluent proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese. This ensures that students are able to effectively communicate and comprehend course materials in both languages.<\/h5>

(Note: courses taught in Chinese will use either Cantonese or Putonghua, according to the lecturer's choice.)<\/p>

Duration of study:
<\/strong><\/span>Full-time students should finish the whole programme within ONE academic year. Part-time students should finish within TWO academic years (extension of study duration is subject to the approval of the Dean of the School of Arts and Social Sciences).<\/h5><\/div>
