Ms Miko CHEUNG Ka-ying is a seasoned human resources leader with over 20 years of experience in driving organisational transformation, talent development, and culture building. She obtained a Bachelor's degree of Business Administration in 1998 and a Master's degree of Business Administration in 2003 at HKMU.<\/p>

Ms Cheung is recognised for her strategic approach to human resource management, with expertise spanning specialised in talent management, leadership development, organisational design, and succession planning. Under her visionary leadership, her company has received multiple industry awards. She is also a strong advocate of employee wellbeing, integrating wellness initiatives into business strategy to enhance engagement, drive productivity, and promote workplace happiness.<\/p>

Beyond her corporate role, Ms Cheung actively contributes to the advancement of the human resources profession through her involvement in various organisations and committees, supporting talent development and competency standards. Since 2022, she actively participated in initiatives organised by HKMU and collaborated with the University to organise company visits and curate the “HKMU Entrepreneurship Weekend Market” at D2 Place in 2023, providing students with practice-oriented learning opportunities and valuable first-hand exposure to entrepreneurship and real-world business operations. She also serves as mentors and advisors in various HKMU's programmes, offering valuable guidance and career insights to generations of students.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Ms Janet KUNG Tsz-shan is a registered nurse, a world-class athlete, and a community leader. Graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing with Honours in General Health Care at HKMU in 2019, Ms Kung has been balancing her healthcare career with elite international sports, demonstrating outstanding performance in both fields.<\/p>

In her professional career, Ms Kung built a strong clinical foundation through four years of service in Intensive Care Units. Her expertise, resilience and empathy enable her to provide vital support to patients and families during critical moments.<\/p>

Beyond the hospital walls, she has devoted herself to extreme sports, achieving remarkable milestones, including conquering Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812m) in the Himalayas and winning four championships at the Cheung Chau Bun Scrambling Competition, earning her the prestigious title of \u201cQueen of Bun Queens\u201d. She also founded Hong Kong's first ice climbing training centre, pioneering the development of the sport locally and equipping young people with access to professional training and new pathways in adventure sports.<\/p>

Ms Kung’s contributions to society have been widely recognised. In 2024, she was named Hong Kong Professional Elite Ladies and was awarded the Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Young Persons. She also served as the Vice President of the inaugural Executive Committee of HKMU Alumni Association, strengthening alumni networks and fostering engagement among graduates. In addition, she frequently returned as a guest speaker, sharing her experience and inspiring students to pursue passions and embrace challenges.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Mr LEUNG Kee-cheong obtained a Bachelor of Education with Honours (Primary Education) at HKMU in 1998. He started teaching in primary schools and gained education administration and frontline experiences at the former Education Department. He then transformed to a Principal at Fresh Fish Traders' School to nurture the next generations, and to serve the underprivileged students for 13 years until his retirement in 2015. He currently serves as the Supervisor of GCEPSA Whampoa Primary School.<\/p>

Under Mr Leung's leadership, Fresh Fish Traders’ School was twice saved from closure due to insufficient student enrolment. He introduced multiple reform measures, actively garnered community support, and raised public awareness of the school's development and the needs of its students. The school was gradually transitioned into a well-recognised caring campus, with its educational philosophy and practices widely commended.<\/p>

Mr Leung has long been committed to advancing education and serving the community, contributing insights to education policies and national education. In recognition of his contributions, he has received numerous honours, including the Persons of the Year in Hong Kong Loving Hearts Campaign from Asia Television, the Bauhinia Exemplary Teacher Award from Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, and the Medal of Honour from the HKSAR Government. He is also frequently invited to deliver educational seminars and has appeared on HKMU's \u201cKnowledge for All\u201d programme with a talk titled “Moving Against the Current: Finding the Bright Sun Amidst the Storm,” sharing positive psychology and core values for facing adversity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
