1. What is Alumni ID?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

Each alumnus is assigned a lifelong alumni ID. The format of this ID is lower case letter 'a' followed by the first seven digits of your student number. For example, if your student number is 12345678, then your alumni ID is a1234567.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

2. Does the alumni e-card have an expiry date?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

Just as your HKMU alumni identity, the alumni e-card is lifelong and will not expire.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

3. When the HKMU Alumni+ app and the alumni e-card are on board, will the Alumni Link Card and the Letter of Identification remain valid?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

Following the launch of the new alumni identity system, the original Alumni Link Card and the letter of identification will no longer be valid after 31 December 2022. To facilitate campus access or enjoy on-campus privileges, you are required to present your alumni e-card.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

4. Shall I enjoy the same alumni benefits such as buying laptops at special prices and merchant privileges by showing the alumni e-card?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

The offers are exclusive benefits for HKMUAA members. Upon activation of your alumni e-card, you are encouraged to join HKMUAA to enjoy the exclusive privileges.\u3000<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

5. As a LiPACE graduate, can I also get the alumni e-card from HKMU Alumni+?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

Sorry, this app is not open to LiPACE graduates.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

6. Is HKMU Alumni+ offered in any operating system other than Android and iOS?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

Currently, the app is only offered in Android and iOS versions. If your mobile device does not have access to Google Play, please install the app by using the APK file. For details, please click here<\/a>.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

7. I have moved to another country. Can I use the app? <\/span><\/i><\/div>

Yes, alumni are welcome to install and use the app outside Hong Kong.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

8. Can I have a physical alumni card? <\/span><\/i><\/div>

Sorry, only e-cards are available and we do not issue physical cards.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

9. Can I use two different photos on the alumni e-card and HKMUAA membership e-card?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

You can only upload one photo to the system for all cards in the app.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

10. Can I change the photo on the alumni e-card?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

If you need to change your photo, please send the new one with your full name in English, Alumni ID and contact number to alumni@hkmu.edu.hk<\/a><\/span>. The photo should show your full frontal face clearly against a plain background.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

11. Can each account be kept in only one mobile device? How can I transfer the account to a new mobile phone?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

Yes, each account can be kept in only one device. If you want to operate your account in a new device, please go to 'Settings' and choose 'Unbind device'. You can then log in on the new device with your password and the setting will remain unchanged.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

12. I have lost my phone. How can I unbind the account from the original phone to prevent someone from using my account?<\/span><\/i><\/div>
