1. I obtained 3 credits from a University proper programme and did not continue my study. Am I eligible for membership application?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

You are welcome to join as an Associate Member.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

2. As a graduate of University proper programme who has recently embarked on another study programme, can I apply for HKMUAA membership now?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

Yes, you are welcome to join as an Ordinary Member.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

3. Is it possible for an Associate Member who later has completed an academic programme at the University proper to be upgraded to Ordinary Member?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

After graduation, your membership will be upgraded to the Ordinary Member level in the conferment month.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

4. I am a LiPACE graduate, can I become a member?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

We are sorry that LiPACE graduates are not eligible for the membership programme.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

5. Can I use two different photos on the alumni e-card and the HKMUAA membership e-card?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

You can only upload one photo to the system for all cards in the app.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

6. If I encounter problems while installing or using HKMU Alumni+, where can I get technical support?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

7. Do I need to pay the membership fee? How much will it be? <\/span><\/i><\/div>

  • Membership fee for Ordinary Member and Associate Member in the first year of establishment will be HK$100. Currently there is no membership fee for Honorary Member, Life Member and Affiliated Member. The membership fee will be subject to review by HKMUAA regularly and make reasonable adjustments accordingly.<\/li>
  • A membership fee waiver is on offer from now until 31 December 2027.<\/li><\/ul><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

    8. Can I have a physical membership card?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    We are sorry that we do not issue physical membership cards.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

    9. How long will it take to process a membership application? <\/span><\/i><\/div>

    All applications will be processed soon. Successful applicants will receive an email notification and the membership e-card will be shown in HKMU Alumni+.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

    10. Will the membership expire?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    The membership term of both Ordinary Members and Associate Members is valid for one year from the date of approval and is renewable annually.
