Copyrighted materials are widely used in the course materials of OUHK full-time, part-time, and professional programmes to enrich students' learning experience. However, proper copyright clearance procedures must be followed before we can reproduce and distribute copyrighted materials. Otherwise, we would be risking copyright infringement. Requesting permission from copyright owners before we use their material also signifies a respect for intellectual property rights which is of utmost importance in the academic world. The ETDU has formulated a set of guidelines<\/a> to help with copyright clearance.<\/font><\/p> \n

There are, however, some circumstances in which copyright clearance is not needed, including:<\/font><\/p> \n
