Dear Students,

 

We are delighted to announce that Microsoft is re-running their certification programs for our HKMU full time undergraduate students and LiPACE full time students. These programs are designed to empower you with future-ready skills in artificial intelligence (AI).

 

Microsoft certifications are highly recognized in the IT industry. We highly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and earn the Microsoft certification. Program details are as follows:

 

Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-901)

a)       Program & Exam Details: Azure AI Fundamentals Program

b)      Certification Method: Successfully pass the AI-901 exam

c)       Study Duration: Approximately 8 hours of self-paced learning*

 

* The above study duration is for reference only and student may need to allocate additional time based on their study progress.

 

Microsoft will provide a briefing session with toolkit resources about the certification program and a pre-exam training session before students take part in the exams. All the sessions and exams will be conducted in English. The online links will be sent to students in due course after registration. The schedules are as follows:

 

Important notice: All of the three sessions are required to complete the exam. If you failed to attend either “Briefing session” or “Pre-exam training session”, you are not able to join the exam on 3 Jul 2026.

 

  1. Briefing Session

Date:          29-JUN-2026 (Mon)

Time:          11:00 am to 12:00 nn (1 hour)

Format:     Online Zoom (Zoom link will be provided upon successful registration)

Language:Cantonese supplemented with English

Remarks:

  • To help students prepare for the exam, a full set of program toolkit will be provided to attended students after the briefing session.
  1. Pre-Exam Training Session

Date:          2-JUL-2026 (Thu)

Time:          12:00 pm to 3:00 pm (3 hours)

Format:     Physical face-to-face

Venue:       Computer lab, D0628, 6/F, HKMU Jockey Club Campus

Remarks:

  • Students have to bring your laptop/ tablet to the training session because some exercises and mock exams will be conducted in-class.
  1. Examination Session

Date:          3-JUL-2026 (Fri)

Time:          10:00 am to 12:00 nn (2 hours)

Format:     Physical face-to-face

Venue:       Computer lab, D0628, 6/F, HKMU Jockey Club Campus

Remarks:

  • Please note both (A) & (B) sessions are the pre-requisite to join the examination session.

 

To register, please complete a simple online registration form on or before 17-Jun-2026 (Wed). Please note that available places are limited, and registration will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
