YDC Youth Ambassadors Programme 2026
The YDC Youth Ambassadors
Programme (the YA Programme) is a flagship youth talent development programme
co-organised by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau of the Government of the HKSAR
and the Youth Development Commission (YDC). First introduced in 2017 and
regularised in 2019, the YA Programme aims at identifying and grooming a cadre
of young talent who see themselves as future leaders in various fields, who are
passionate to serve society, and who are willing to strive for the betterment of
the country and Hong Kong.
Theme of the Year 2026:
“Youth Leading the Future”
The YA Programme 2026 is
centered around the theme of “Youth Leading the Future”. Through comprehensive
training and unique exposure opportunities, the programme aims at enhancing
young people’s understanding of trends and developments in various sectors,
empowering them to cultivate a holistic outlook and seize the future development
opportunities of Hong Kong. The programme also encourages young people to engage
in public affairs to understand community needs, offers them opportunities to
participate in local and non-local exchange and sharing activities to strengthen
their interpersonal networks, broaden their international perspectives and
promote the positive image of Hong Kong’s young people.
Programme Features
Unparalleled exposure

Team Building

Through team challenge
activities, participants are encouraged to step
out of their comfort zones, unleash their
potential and strengthen team cohesion while
learning effective teamwork skills.

Core Training Module
(1): Digital Training Workshop
-
Led by industry
professionals, the workshop aims at enhancing
participants’ advanced skills in short video
filming and editing. Participants will be given
opportunities to promote the positive image of
Hong Kong’s young people on social media.

Core Training Module
(2): Thematic Sharing/Experience Series
-
Engage in direct and
in-depth exchanges with government officials,
industry experts/leaders to understand the
trends and developments in various sectors and
seize the future development opportunities of
the country and Hong Kong.

Core Training Module
(3): Community Building Activities
-
Through district
service projects, participants will deepen their
understanding of community stakeholders, gain
insights into the actual needs of the community,
and extend care to those in need to foster
social inclusiveness and harmony.

Exchange Visits

Embark on journeys and
conduct exchanges with youths outside Hong Kong.
Gain international perspectives and better
understand the latest developments in the
Mainland and the world.

Volunteering at
Government Events/Conferences
Target Participants
Young people who are:
-
aged between 18 and 30
(as at 1 January 2026);
-
permanent residents of
Hong Kong or Hong Kong identity cardholders who are currently
registered as full-time students in Hong Kong;
-
possess excellent
communication, problem-solving, leadership and teamwork skills;
-
demonstrate the passion
to serve the Hong Kong community and strive for the future of
our country and Hong Kong; and
-
willing to demonstrate
unwavering commitment to participating in the entire programme.
How to Participate
-
Prospective
participants should complete the
online application form with project proposal on or before
20 January 2026 (Tuesday).
Topic and detail of project proposal:
-
In the face of the
increasing wide spread use of artificial
intelligence (AI) and the challenges posed by
rapid technological advancements, AI is
transforming human communication, work and daily
living patterns of our society. Please propose
ideas and suggestions under one of the following
topics – "Promoting Youth Development",
"Enhancing Care Team Services" or "Promoting
Hong Kong's Culture, Sports, and Tourism
Development”, and discuss how we can leverage AI
technology in that specific area. Please propose
ideas and suggestions (e.g., themes to be
covered by the activities/schemes, types of
activities and mode of implementation) in
writing (within 400 words in Chinese or 600
words in English) or by video recording (within
1 minute in mp4 format).

Applicants are not
guaranteed nomination, as the School retains the sole discretion
to make the final decision.
Selection and
Results Announcement
Shortlisted
candidates will receive an e-mail invitation to attend a comprehensive selection
exercise to be held in early to mid-March 2026 (tentative). Results will be
announced in early April 2026 (tentative) by e-mail.

YDC青年大使計劃2026
YDC青年大使計劃(以下簡稱「計劃」)是一個由香港特區政府民政及青年事務局和青年發展委員會合辦的重點青年人才發展計劃。計劃於2017年推出並於2019年恆常化,旨在物色和培養一批有志在未來成為不同界別的領袖、熱衷服務社會和願意為國家和香港的未來而奮鬥的青年人才。
2026年度主題「青年引領未來」
YDC
青年大使計劃2026以「青年引領未來」為主題,透過全面的培訓課程及獨特體驗機會,加強青年人對不同範疇的宏觀趨勢與發展的認識,協助青年人建立大局觀並掌握香港未來發展機遇。計劃同時鼓勵青年人參與公共事務以了解社區所需,提供不同機會讓青年人參與本地和境外的交流分享活動以加强人際網絡,擴闊國際視野,宣揚香港青年的積極正面形象。
計劃內容
計劃下的獨特體驗機會包括:

團隊建立活動

透過團隊挑戰活動,鼓勵參加者走出舒適圈,通過創新挑戰和協作活動,激發潛能並強化團隊凝聚力,學習有效的團隊合作技巧。

核心培訓(1):數碼培訓工作坊
-
參與由業界資深人士帶領的工作坊,提升參加者的短片拍攝和編輯的進階技巧。同時提供實踐機會,讓參加者在社交媒體上宣揚香港青年的積極正面形象。

核心培訓(2):
專題分享/體驗系列
-
與政府官員、行業專家/領袖作直接和深入的交流,了解不同範疇的宏觀趨勢與發展,掌握國家和香港未來的發展機遇。

核心培訓(3):
共建社區活動

透過參與地區服務,增加對社區持份者的認識,了解社區的實際需求,延展關愛,為社區共融和諧出一分力。
其他體驗包括:

內地及海外交流
-
踏上旅程,與境外青年交流,擴闊國際視野,深入了解內地和世界的最新發展。

在大型政府活動或國際會議擔當義工
計劃對象
符合下列條件的青年:
-
年齡介乎18至30歲(以2026年1月1日當日計算);
-
為香港永久居民 或 持有香港居民身份證並正在香港修讀全日制課程的學生;
-
具有優良的溝通和解難能力,並且具備領導才能及良好的團隊合作精神;
-
熱衷服務香港社會,並願意為國家和香港的未來奮鬥;及
-
願意承諾全程投入參與整個計劃。

有興趣參加者,請於2026年1月20日(星期二)或之前,透過網上申請表格填妥個人資料及遞交計劃建議。

正改變人類社會的溝通、工作及生活的方式。請以「推動青年發展」、「提升關愛隊服務」或「推動香港文化、體育、旅遊發展」其中一項為主題,分享如何在該領域善用

技術。 請在以下空格内以 書寫形式(不多於 中文
