學科豁免
同學曾於其他獲認可的專上院校成功修畢同級內容的科目或更高程度的科目，或已通過相關的專業考試，可申請豁免修讀個別科目。
豁免申請須於開課後兩週內遞交，逾期申請恕不受理。
申請人須填妥「課程事項申請表」(FCS003)，連同相關證明文件 (例如學術或專業資格證書的副本、課程內容大綱等)和行政費用交回本院辦理。表格可於本院網頁下載或向本院辦事處索取。

**Students
of FHDECE Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Year 2)
should check the enrollment results for the elective courses of
“EDU4052EF/CF Professionalism in Early Childhood Education” and “EDU4053EF/CF
Event Planning in Early Childhood Settings”.
The class timetable will also be
available on the “MyHKMU” student portal via the HKMU website (under “Current
Students”) after 29 August 2025. Access details are as follow:

Select “My Programme”,
and click your enrolled programme
O
Click “Class Schedule”
to view your class timetable
The “Student Set (Class)” on the
top left of each timetable should be read as:
O
study programme/ main teaching venue/ study
year (if applicable)/ class (if applicable)
Example:
FHDHC/KHC/Y1/1 stands for
FHDHC Higher Diploma in Health Care/Main Teaching Venue:
Kwai Hing Campus/Year 1/Class

Course Exemption
Student may apply for course
exemption based on prior recognized and comparable studies at the same or higher
academic level and/or professional examinations.
Application for exemption should
be made within 2 weeks after the commencement of the semester. Late applications
will not be accepted.
Students who need to apply for
course exemption are required to complete the “Course Issues Application Form
(FCS003)” and submit it along with administration fee and supporting evidence
(e.g. copies of certificates of academic or professional qualifications,
syllabus) to the School’s counter. The form is available at the counter or on
the website.
