 Extension of Library Opening Hours & Seat Reservation Arrangement 
 from 29th January to 27th February 2005 (N1/05)

In order to cater for the increasing demand of library services during the examination period, Library will extend the opening hours and implement a seat reservation arrangement from 29th January to 27th February 2005. These are subject to review and change may be made if necessary.

Extension of Library Opening Hours

The Library opening hours are extended as follow:

Monday - Sunday09:00 am - 10:00 pm
Except Lunar New Year's Eve
(8th February 2005)		09:00 am - 05:40 pm

Seat Reservation Arrangement

  1. The Seat Reservation Arrangement is implemented every Saturday & Sunday, and 3 Lunar New Year's holidays from 29th January to 27th February 2005.
  2. All numbered seats (except those in AV Centre, Language Laboratory, and Disable Student Centre) are available for reservation.
  3. Seat Reservation Tickets are first issued at the Library Entrance at 9:00 am. The remaining tickets, if any, will be issued at the Library Counter at 9:30 am, until all tickets are issued out.
  4. Seat reservation Tickets are valid from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on the date issue.
  5. Patrons are required to present a valid OUHK student's card and his/her HKID card, if needed, to library staff who issue the tickets.
  6. Seat Reservation Tickets are issued on first-come-first serve basis.
  7. No advance bookings, and no choice of seats are allowed.
  8. Only one ticket per patron will be issued. Patron holding a valid Seat Ticket has a right to the seat on the date of issue from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  9. When the Ticket holder is not occupying the seat that he/she has reserved, another reader may use the vacant seat until the Ticket holder returns.
  10. The Ticket holder must be able to produce a valid Seat Ticket issued by the library on the day together with the valid OUHK student's card.
  11. Seat Reservation Ticket is not transferable from one patron to another.
  12. When the seat is no longer required, please return the ticket to the Library Counter.

The Library reserves the right to invoke the Library Regulation regarding Opening Hours and Seat Reservation Arrangement.
