Dear all,

As you are aware, the University is moving toward the adoption of blended learning in its courses.  A few courses of each school have been selected for trial in October 2010.  I am pleased to announce that Dr. Weiyuan Zhang, Head of HKU SPACE Research Centre and Deputy Head of Centre for Cyber Learning, and Ms. Jeanne Lam, Associate Head of HKU SPACE Centre for Cyber Learning, have agreed to conduct a Seminar on Implementing Blended Learning at HKU SPACE – An Instructional Design Paradigm to share with us their invaluable experience in blended learning.  In the seminar, they will demonstrate the model adopted by SPACE in developing blended learning courses.  They will also share with us the process of course development, the instructional tools and their learning management system for the design and implementation of blended learning.  Examples of blended learning coruses will also be demonstrated.
